Adam Lambert’s golden touch of ‘Tracks of My Tears’

Posted By Payperbiz on March 26, 2009

ADAM LAMBERT surprises American Idol viewers again but this time it wasn’t only his falsetto voice that penetrated through their system but his soft approach to  “Tracks of My Tears” which was popularized by Motown’s legend, Smokey Robinson. Veering from his rock star look, Adam appeared on stage last night in a pressed suit one would normally wear while on board a Golden Touch Limousine. His comely look could make any girl want to take him for a ride in their prom limo service in New York and later head for Airport Queens.

Aside from sporting a so-unlike-Adam-Lambert-look last night, Adam introduced another side of his talent which is normally associated with big movements and Steve Tyler like screams. Like always, he also managed to make the classic Smokey Robinson song his own by introducing brilliant notes and tweaking the original ones a bit. There is no denying the guy is overflowing with artistry and even the judges cannot help but blurt this out. Kara DioGuardi said Adam is one of last night’s best performers but Simon Cowell was quick to correct her and announce that Adam’s performance was “THE BEST.”

Noticed I associated Adam’s performance with a limousine service in Manhattan? Simply because his performance last night reminded me of a recent trip in New York to visit Mama Love. I had a blast courtesy of the best limo for rent in New York. Really Adam! Just really Adam! What? You didn’t know that Adam is the new word for excellent? Webster revised it just last night.

And there was light... Writing about music and other showbiz stuff used to be fun, but since moving to a company whose nature is distant from showbiz, I realized writing about extensive topics or subjects is where the thrill lies. I understand some writers prefer to write about their object of interest. That's good, but nothing beats touching on all aspects of life. By doing so, I experience life as it is.
