Money Counting Machines

So after grueling months of conceptualization and planning, we have finally put up our printing business. Life is good as it has gifted me with cousins endowed with artistic talents. Some of whom are unmatched graphic designers while others’ penchant for web design has led them to greater career heights.

They design while I formulate the text that would sell the product or services of a product, an ad that will run on banners, newspapers, Internet, etc. Currently we’re handling five clients. Our first campaign was about money counting machines. Those who are not business oriented naturally knows nothing about these things, but just for the sake of informing you, a money counter is equipped with UV and IR detection functions to carefully scrutinize every bill for authenticity.

At first I thought it was going to be difficult as I’m no banker niether have I handled a cash register so I was a total stranger to a cash counter. That was the case until the owner of the company lent me a bill counter, which is actually the best seller in his store, just so I can have a feel of how it is working around one. Man, I got addicted to it. Apart from counting bills and sorting coins speedily, it can detect counterfeit money.

After having delivered the project, I told the owner I’m buying the currency counter he lent me, and he approved but instead of paying the amount of the equipment, which by the way is so low, he offered it for free. This, however, is apart from the generous lump sum he gave me for my writing job.

And there was light... Writing about music and other showbiz stuff used to be fun, but since moving to a company whose nature is distant from showbiz, I realized writing about extensive topics or subjects is where the thrill lies. I understand some writers prefer to write about their object of interest. That's good, but nothing beats touching on all aspects of life. By doing so, I experience life as it is.
